This is a beautiful place to rent! I can’t say enough great things about this house, the views, the space, the outdoor area, golf cart, bikes, it is just great! Six couples stayed for my husband’s retirement and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate. There is plenty of room for everyone. If we ever needed anything the response time was fast and helpful. It is just a short walk to the beach. Cannot say enough great things about this rental, we will definitely be back!

This property is completely amazing and just as advertised. Such a magical stay in every single way. The home is totally equipped with every amenity imaginable, better than expected! Overall, we would give this a 5-Star rating as the home was beautiful, very close to the beach, and for us at least, great to have Stinky’s right next door. The owner stayed in touch through out our stay and was very helpful in figuring a couple of things out. They were very responsive and timely. There were a couple of things that I wish were more tight. One being the garbage pickup. We arrived in a Saturday (Memorial day weekend) and the pickups were on Monday (Sunday for the holiday and Thursdays. The waste management folks only picked up 1 of 2 trash cans (because one can was not up to specs) same can be said for Thursday. We obviously were in contact with the owner but it was definitely inconvenient to manage the amount of trash. I am sure they will get that resolved. We will definitely consider a return next year.

Fabulous Stay!

I can’t say enough positive things about this home. The location is perfect! The beach right across the street, shopping and restaurants within walking distance and such a relaxing setting having the lake behind the house. The house itself is awesome. It had everything we needed for the 12 of us. Plenty of room and modern. The backyard was perfect. Sun and shade. Pool and hot tub made it feel like an oasis. The management team did everything possible to accommodate our needs and were quick with responding to our questions. We hope to come back next year!

This was our 2nd October trip with friends to this beautiful vacation rental. This year we only had 4 couples in this very large home so we all enjoyed our extra space. We also really enjoy this location in Santa Rosa. The crowds are a little smaller on the beach and in the restaurants. Looking forward to returning in the near future!

This is probably the best floor plan for a group of friends that we have found so far. My husband and I vacation with 4 other couples frequently and we are always looking for our next vacation home on 30A. We enjoyed the privacy that this house provided for each couple. The large kitchen and the outside area were our favorite gathering spots. The pool and hot tub, the fireplace at night and the golf cart and bicycles were exactly what we were looking for when we chose this house for our trip. As a group, we highly recommend your next trip be to Sandcastle By The Sea!

We had a great time, The location of the house gave us views of the Gulf all day long. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Restaurants in the area are plentiful but must make at least one stop at Stinkys Fish Camp. The house layout is wonderful for families and multiple couples. The 6+ bedrooms all have king beds and their own bathrooms. Key for us. The pool area was used the most by us. Spa was wonderful. We did have a few issues when we checked in and through the stay however the management company was there within the hour to address them. We would recommend this property

Perfect Family Vacation

We had 18 family members, 9 of them children under 9 years of age!! It had plenty of space for all if to eat together. Kitchen has top of line appliances, we cooked in most nights. Pool was small but perfect for kids to take break from the beach. The location is ideal! This part of 30A is not as crowded and the beaches are beautiful. We will be back!

Sandcastle by the Sea had everything that we needed. The house was large enough that everyone had their own space. The rental company was very responsive to our needs and stayed in contact with us to make sure our stay was all we expected it to be. I would highly recommend this house and Live the Gulf Coast (rental company).

A truly great place to stay at the beach!

Sandcastle by the Sea is the perfect beach house for a large group. We had 18 in our party and could have had more without being crowded. The location is great just across the road from public beach access. The pool was a godsend since our first 2 days were in a tropical storm. The kids loved the pool and hot tub as much as the beach. Access to good food and shopping is great. The included golf cart was very convenient. We had a flat tire and Ron Wilson was great in taking care of that and questions we had about the hot tub. The house is beautiful with double ovens,2 ice machines and 2 dishwashers, a pool table, and bar by the pool, and bunk rooms for the kids. We entertained 40 people without feeling crowded and the kitchen serviced that group easily. Live the Gulf Coast company made our reservation, house entry, and check out seamless. In summary, it was the perfect house for us and we will definitely return when we want to go to the gulf beach.

THE BEST PLACE TO STAY

The house is well appointed and comfortable. Very clean and ready for us upon arrival. We were a group of 16 adults and there was plenty of space. The four balconies allow for quiet time, reading, small nightly gatherings or morning coffee. The layout of the bedrooms was great for adults but would also be perfect for multiple families w children. The pool area is wonderful! Location next to Stinky’s is a plus and the walk to the beach is just across the street—under five minutes!!! Ron, our rental contact for the week, was the best. He made sure everything was effortless for us and completely prepared. This is where you want to be!!

Wonderful Stay!

This house was absolutely perfect! It had plenty of room for our group - where you didn't feel like you were on top of each other - so much space to lounge and dine and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for a large group. The reaction and quick response to the 2 small issues we had during the week were met so swiftly and fixed immediately - which was so nice. The house is literally right across the street from the beach access - the shortest walk possible without being on the other side of the road and right on the beach. The pool and hot tub were by far our favorite spot - used every day for hours. The pool heating feature was definitely worth the extra couple hundred bucks! Would HIGHLY recommend this house for anyone looking for a perfect beach vacation home for a large group of family and/or friends!

Great house wonderfully decorated. Big common space to visit, play games and eat together. The heated pool and spa were great for January. Also, easy access to the beach just across the street. Plenty of bedrooms with private baths too. Great place to spend the week!

I would give this place a 6 star if I could! We have been to 30A numerous times and stayed in plenty of nice places but this place takes the cake! Everyone in our party was very impressed! There are the most amazing views from every level and balcony-some of the beach and others of the lake! All of the decor was top notch and there was a well appointed kitchen! I cannot say enough great things! Our beds was super comfy and the Kurds loved the bunk room! Even the TVs were user friendly and had a lot to offer! Our favorite part was the outdoor fireplace and sitting area and of course that overlooked the lake pool and hot tub-amazing! I thought I needed help with the golf cart but turns out it was my error and as soon as I texted the property manager they were prepared to come right over! They offered us great communication throughout the trip but we didn’t end up needing anything!!! Book you will not be disappointed you may just have a hard time leaving.

Family Reunion # 4

This is a 5 Star property in virtually every way! 4 Families + Grand Dad - 19. We cooked in a lot, had space for all to sit down in same room. Kitchen supplies were over the top, plates, flatware and glasses for all occasions! 8 burner range, large Sub Zero frig, 2 ice makers, 2 dish washers, and wine cooler/frig in the bar. The 2 BR up and 2 down are nice size, the BR on the 2nd floor is a Master, large with great view over the lake. The pool house is a great BR, very private. Hot tub, great, pool perfect size for the property. Beach is across 30-A 100 yds, sugar sand! We brought bikes, and rode the trail East on 30-A, some great areas off the road. Golf about a mile away, nice, reasonable. Stinky's Fish Camp next store, great food, priced right, get there early! This was a very comfortable stay, in a great property, I'd go back in a heart beat!

simply amazing. exceeded our expectations in all areas. two minutes to beach and restaurants. amenities are over the top. appliance are high-end and home is well equipped. the outside summer kitchen/pool/fireplace/TV/eating area is absolutely the best. the six passenger golf cart is perfect. i will return!!

I left a fairly long review on VRBO.com. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beach house. The house is very stunning. It was perfect in every way. The owner thought of everything to include in this home to make it extremely comfortable. We like the location and enjoyed the fact that it was right next-door to the Stinky‘s restaurant where we ate several times. Ron was very attentive to our needs as they arose. We will definitely be coming back again in the future.
